SDL, the leading provider of Global Information Management (GIM) solutions, is pleased to announce the availability of SDL WorldServer™ 9.1.0, the latest version of the market-leading translation management system.

In today’s challenging economic climate, effective management of global information is critical. The newest release of SDL WorldServer 9.1.0 offers a highly scalable translation management system which integrates with other SDL product lines including SDL Trisoft™, the component content management product from SDL XySoft. This close integration with SDL Trisoft provides a seamless exchange of information, ensuring that as content reaches the appropriate stage in its lifecycle, it can be automatically sent for translation. This latest version also includes updates to the most current Mozilla Firefox browser release, standard filter updates and assorted bug fixes.

Further SDL WorldServer product development in the future will continue to provide tighter integration with other SDL GIM technologies such as SDL Trados® Studio 2009, which provides valuable translation memory and process automation capabilities, as well as SDL Tridion™ and SDL MultiTerm®.  The integrated technology solution will provide SDL WorldServer customers with enhanced applications for all elements of the translation supply chain.

“SDL is committed to providing continued quality support and product development for the SDL WorldServer client base,” says Betsy Fallon, VP Client Services.  “We are focused on delivering the necessary functionality and usability required for our customers. This is in addition to the recent integration of SDL automated translation technology and SDL Global Authoring Management System™ with SDL WorldServer.”

SDL WorldServer 9 is a sister product to SDL’s browser-based SDL Translation Management System™ (SDL TMS™). For more information on SDL WorldServer 9 please visit http://www.sdl.com/translation-management/.
